Japan is a nation formed by an archipelago situated of the eastern coast of the Eurasian continent.
Some 7,000 islands of all sizes draw an arch that extends 3,000 km from northeast to southwest. Surrounded by the sea and with 60% of the country mountainous, Japan has been blessed by nature.
The land is cloaked in green and the seas offer marine products in abundance. Each of the four seasons offers a distinct charm.
Japan’s native culture can be traced back to before the birth of Christ, and has benefited from traditions imported from neighboring China and Korea, which were adapted to integrate into what is today a highly unique Japanese culture. This is known as wafu or Japanese-style and is popular among people the world over. |
